The Graduate Development Programme (GDP) was established in order to increase the number of technical graduates from Universities and Technikons with the necessary training and qualifications required for employment in the scarce skills areas of the Mining and Minerals Sector.
The programme was established by the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) to provide structured two years industry experience to unemployed graduates from historically disadvantaged backgrounds as a response to the equity targets of the Mining Charter. Download the GDP Guidelines to read more…
